in the Santa Clarita Valley

Fireworks, 4th of July parades, swimming--so much a part of the Santa Clarita Valley's Independence Day celebrations! Here's a list of all of the
fun for the fourth of July happening in Valencia, Santa Clarita, Stevenson Ranch, and Heritage Valleys. Now we know that some people want to party
near the beach or in a small town, so we've included the fun in Ventura as well. Party on!
All events take place on July 4 unless indicated otherwise.

Newhall Park (All races begin here)
4th of July Parade "It's a Grand Old Flag"
on Main Street (formerly San Fernando Road) in Old Town Newhall. The route
travels west on
Lyons Avenue onto Orchard Village and finishes at 16th Street.
The Parade has been a long-standing tradition in the Santa Clarita Valley since it began in 1932. Free. Further details
will be shown over the Westfield Valencia Town Center.
The show will last approximately 30 minutes. Tune to KHTS 1220 AM to listen to the live broadcast of the soundtrack. Free.

Stevenson Ranch Fireworks Show
Free admission. Bring a Picnic Dinner, personal activities, camping chairs, a blanket, and enjoy the fireworks show! Please Note: For safety reasons, the back
gate will be locked the entire day and evening on 7/4/18.
Dr. Richard Rioux Memorial Park
Park gates open. Live band plays until 8:00 pm.
The posting of colors by the Boy Scouts, and singing of the National Anthem take place on stage.
Fireworks begin and are over at 9:30 pm.
4th of July Parade
One of the largest parades in the county! Parade route runs from Crown Valley Road at Aliso Street to Smith Avenue.

4th of July Street Fair
Six blocks of artisans, multiple stages, food booths and activities for all ages.
The parade assembles at 9:00 am at Cemetery Park (Main and Crimea)
and begins to parade
down Main Street at 9:30 am.

There is an admission fee for this event. Once entered, Kids Zone events are free but there is a fee for the bounce houses. Live music, food trucks,
