Grab the family and explore a corn maze, a pumpkin festival, go on a hay ride, pet some barn animals, crawl through a giant pumpkin, see a ghost or dodge a zombie. October is the main month for Halloween fun, but some events occur September through November.

A cutting-edge experience that combines elements of virtual reality, haunted houses and escape rooms. Groups of up to four are transported back in time to London during the late 1800s to unlock clues and try to solve the Jack The Ripper case. This thrilling, family, fun event brings history back from the afterlife. Period games and crafts. Fort Tejon's residents, in period attire, will celebrate Peter LeBeck, the first recorded pioneer of Kern County.

A family-friendly interactive Halloween haunt with one night specifically geared to younger children (minus the scaring) with games and prizes for the little ones. Coffinwood Cemetery began in Canyon Country approximately 20 years ago in the Caravilla Mobile Home park. Tony and his friend Tom have created this free entertainment for everyone to enjoy.

Fright Fest
Fright Fest includes a total of seven electrifying mazes, seven dare-to-enter scare zones, and a terrifying corps of roaming zombies around every corner. Six Flags Magic Mountain adds a sinister element to some of the theme park's monster coasters by turning off the lights, leaving riders to face their fears in total darkness--literally. Not recommended for children under 13. No costumes or masks allowed.

Turn your porch light on when you are receiving Trick or Treaters, or they will pass you along for the next house on your block. Trick or Treat in Santa Clarita begins at dusk and continues until the kids get tired and go home or all of the porch lights are turned off. Have fun and be safe!
