Full campus offers unique classes, library, tutoring center (TLC), veterans programs and more! The campus offers associate degrees as well as Certificates of Achievement plus general education and transferrable classes through a combination of on-ground and online classes. Future expansion in the district will occur on this campus with the building of a new science center already taking place. A comprehensive set of services is available on the campus, including academic counseling, admissions, financial aid, student development, career services, Extended Opportunities and Program Services (EOPS), CalWORKs, and a student health center.

Valencia Campus

College of the Canyons offers 89 degrees and 80 certificates, including 24 associate in science -- transfer (A.S.-T) and associate in arts -- transfer (A.A.-T) degrees that provide students with guaranteed transfer pathways to a California State University campus. The college has also been a pioneer in the effort to adopt Open Educational Resources (OER), a term that refers to the free use of textbooks and learning resources. We also offer career and vocational courses such as Welding, Land Surveying, Culinary Arts and others, allow students to acquire job skills or prepare for transfer to technical programs at four-year institutions. In addition, courses are offered that allow students to improve their language and mathematics skills, including an English as Second Language (ESL) program. A robust and diverse selection of online classes is also available, as well as the Dr. Dianne G Van Hook University Center, where students can obtain bachelor's and master's degrees from one of several university partners.

The University Center
The University Center at COC allows residents to earn their bachelor's, master's credential, or doctoral degree from one of several accredited colleges and universities right here on the COC campus--without leaving our valley!

Weekend College at COC
The Weekend College program provides students the opportunity to take general education classes as part of an accelerated weekend learning community.

Online & College by TV Courses
Too busy to leave home to pursue your education? Not a problem!

Extension Courses
An opportunity to indulge your passions at an incredibly low cost. Perhaps you'd like to learn the basics of landscaping so you can design, or redesign, your own property? Learn Everyday Law, take a CPR class, learn Quickbooks, brush up on some business courses, master Adobe software and digital photography, understand your adolescent, or write your life story.

Culinary Arts
The Culinary Arts Certificate of Achievement allows you to obtain work experience and college credit at the same time through a Cooperative Work Experience Education internship. Whether your aspiration is in the kitchen, writing a food blog or as a food and beverage director, you can earn your degree here. Or just learn the fine art of cooking for everyday life. COC has brought in Pastry Chef Cindy Schwanke fresh from Spago!

California Institute of the Arts was founded with the intent to bring different art forms together and allow them to cross-pollinate, in the process fostering collaboration and sparking innovation.

Colleges, universities and advanced education is all available without leaving the Santa Clarita Valley. Four campuses are found in Santa Clarita: two in Valencia, one in Newhall, and one in Canyon Country. Online classes, continuing education, community extension, college and university programs are all offered in Valencia and Santa Clarita.
