Enjoy Free Disney Admission on Your Birthday in 2009
Do you have fond memories of childhood birthday parties? Thanks to Disneyland Resort's 2009 promotion, you can
be a kid again by visiting the place where magic happens. Disneyland Resort offers free admission on your birthday
throughout 2009. Enjoy a celebration vacation!
Visiting Disneyland Resort doesn't need to be an expensive adventure. Take advantage of free birthday admission
and keep your costs low by staying a short shuttle ride away from the resort. The Embassy Suites Anaheim North
(3100 E Frontera, (714) 632-1221) offers elegant family-friendly rooms. Start your day by enjoying their fabulous,
free cooked-to-order breakfast while dining in the luxurious lobby. Then hop aboard Embassy Suites' Disneyland Express
shuttle that costs only $2/person. The shuttle offers convenient hourly drop off and pick up times, leaving you within
a very short walk to the main gates of the parks. The place where magic happens is for families with every budget.
The most surprising lesson that I learned on this trip is that the charm and wonder of Disney transcends any barrier:
even torrential rain. When I woke up on our first scheduled day at Disneyland, I pulled back the heavy drapes of our
Embassy Suite only to be horrified by what I saw. Rain in Anaheim? Not just rain. A torrential downpour. I was
convinced that the magical day that my fiancé and I had waited all our lives for would be ruined. Our long-awaited
first visit to Disney would be a disappointment. Then we arrived at the park.
Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters is a newer ride in which you get to help Buzz Lightyear shoot the bad guys.
A fun little addition to this ride is being able to email a picture of yourself during the ride to anyone you
choose-for free! It's located in Tomorrowland.
Did you enjoy the recent Indiana Jones movie? The Indiana Jones Adventure will satisfy your need for adventure.
It's "unlike any other"!

the classic movie come alive in this walking tour. Explore the winding hallways of the castle and be sure to visit
the ground-floor chamber.

In California Adventure, check out Toy Story Mania! Put on your 3-D glasses and ride into a 4-D adventure of midway

and draws a big crowd.

effects and creativity from Tim Burton, the creative mind behind The Nightmare Before Christmas. Don't miss Pirates of
the Caribbean! The ride that inspired the movies has been updated with ideas directly from the movies. You may need
to go on this ride more than once in order to catch the many details you will find. Stop by a churro cart and take
in the sounds of the live Jazz music. Its festive tones will put you right onto Bourbon Street while the fresh air
reminds you that you are in California.
At 5:30pm, don't miss the lighting of Sleeping Beauty's Castle. For any little girl who ever dreamed of
living in a castle-this is for you. A beautiful, enchanting light and sound display marks the nightly event
of lighting the castle. If you're visiting around the holidays, watch for the snow!
At 9:25pm, a childlike smile will emerge as you witness the magical fireworks display begin over Sleeping Beauty's
castle. The stunning beauty of the castle mixed with the quaint charm of Main Street USA and the falling "snow," will
take you back to the wonder of childhood.

and evergreens will tease your senses while you journey through the air.
Hold onto your raft at Grizzly River Run, because this whitewater adventure will send you through the mouth of a
grizzly and down the mountain. You will get wet! Since you're already wet, go a second time!
Did you dream of having a huge treehouse when you were a kid? If so, don't miss the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail.
